1.Assassins Creed
The first game in the Assassins Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history.

2.Assassins Creed: Brotherhood
ssassins Creed: Brotherhood is a third person action adventure video game with main emphasis on sandbox style gameplay in an open world of Rome. Like the previous installments, the gameplays core mechanics are based on parkour movements, crowd blending stealth, assassinations and melee fighting system. The combat system features several improvements and for the first time in the series, the game offers a multiplayer mode alongside 40+ hours of single player gameplay.[7]

The game introduces a new management system: the player can recruit new members by destroying any of fifteen Borgia towers around Rome where papal troops are stationed, then rescuing disgruntled citizens in their districts from harassing guards. The player, as Ezio, can then send them to assignments around Europe or call them for support during missions (if they are not already occupied). Tasking the novice Assassins makes them gain experience, and the player is able to customize their appearance, skills and weapon training to some degree by spending the skill points they have earned. Assassins can die on missions, from which they will not return. Ezio masters new gadgets, such as Leonardo da Vincis parachute, which can be used when jumping from tall buildings,[7] along with poison darts, a faster acting poison, a crossbow, and the ability to hold and throw heavier weapons like axes.

The primary setting is Rome, which has fallen into ruin due to the corrupt rule of the Borgia papacy and the Templars over the Papal States and concentrating all the wealth in the Vatican. Just like the town of Monteriggioni in Assassins Creed II, the player is able to invest in the city and witness its development and unlock rewards.[8] The player has to conquer and destroy Borgia towers to free city zones from the familys influence.[7] Completing this unlocks new missions and opportunities. Rome is the biggest city ever created after the first two installments (Rome is three times bigger than Florence from Assassins Creed II[7]) and includes five varied districts: Vatican, Downtown, Tiber, Country and Antique. Unlike the previous installments, travel between different cities or regions is no longer present, as most of the action in the game takes place around the city of Rome. Instead, a series of tunnel networks throughout the city allow the player to travel to different sectors of the city with ease. However players will be able to explore the entire city of Rome, visit a part of Navarre, Spain and Monteriggioni in the present day.

The combat system has been modified. Striking first and offensive actions are more deadly in Brotherhood than previous games where counter attacks were the most efficient. Before, this made the player wait until the AI struck, which slowed down the pace of fighting. The AI in this game is thus more aggressive and enemies can attack simultaneously. To dispatch them, Ezio can use melee and ranged weapons at the same time, as well as introducing the hidden pistol in combat. After killing one enemy the player can start an execution streak to dispatch multiple enemies quickly. Ezio can throw heavy weapons (axes, spears, and swords) at his enemies. There are new enemy archetypes in addition to those seen in Assassins Creed II such as horsemen, arquebusiers, papal guards and others.

Horses play a larger role in Brotherhood, not only used as a means of transport (inside the city for the first time), but as a component of acrobatic sequences and advanced combat as well, allowing ranged weapons to be used while riding them. Brotherhood also introduces various types of horse related assassinations, featuring horse to horse assassinations. There are environmental objects like the flower pot in Assassins Creed II to move faster inside the city (a system of tunnels around the city allow fast travel), as well as new objects such as merchandise lifts to quickly climb up high buildings or structures.[9]

Unlike previous installments, Desmond can leave the Animus at almost any time. This allows Desmond to explore the present day town of Monteriggioni. The player is also offered virtual training, a mini game where the player may test their free running or combat skills.

3.Assassins Creed II
Assassins Creed II begins immediately after the events of the first game in 2012; Desmond Miles is still trapped by Abstergo Industries (the modern day face of the Knights Templar) after being forced to use the Animus device to revisit genetic memories of the Assassin Altair Ibn LaAhad, and has discovered prophetic warnings from Subject 16 (a previous captive) describing the end of the world. He is soon rescued by Lucy Stillman, a mole for the Assassins within Abstergo, who takes him to meet two other Assassins, historian Shaun Hastings and computer expert Rebecca Crane. They request that Desmond use their version of the Animus, the Animus 2.0, to relive memories of another Assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, to train Desmond in the ways of the Assassins through the Bleeding Effect of the Animus. During his exposure, Desmond finds himself briefly struck by a puzzling memory of Altair and his lover, a former Templar named Maria who became pregnant with his child. It is also revealed that apart from training Desmond as an Assassin, the Assassins also wish to find out more information about the foretold Vault. Desmond also finds various glyphs left by Subject 16 in the Animus, which, when decoded and assembled, form a brief video of a man and woman, Adam and Eve, running through a futuristic setting called Eden. The video ends with the binary for Eden.

Assassins Creed IIs plot includes the fictional depictions of historical characters including Niccolo Machiavelli and Rodrigo Borgia, later known as Pope Alexander VI.

Ezios memories begin during the Renaissance in the 15th century, where his family is ensnared in a political plot, and his father and brothers are hanged. Ezio, following his fathers last advice, finds his fathers Assassin tools, and flees the city with his mother and sister to the safety of his uncle Marios villa in the countryside. Mario assists Ezio in discovering the people behind the conspiracy, the search leading Ezio from Florence, to San Gimignano, Forli, Venice and eventually to Rome. As he identifies and assassinates more and more political figures, Ezio also gains several allies, including Niccolo Machiavelli and Leonardo da Vinci, the latter of whom helps Ezio improve his equipment using schematics found in Altairs Codex pages. Ezio eventually identifies the mastermind of the plot: the Spaniard Rodrigo Borgia, who ultimately sought to bring down the Medici family in Florence with the help of the Pazzi family and the Doge of Venice. Ezio finds Borgia in possession of the Apple the same Piece of Eden that Altair had recovered centuries ago and learns that Borgia believes himself to be The Prophet that will lead the Templars to a fabled Vault. Ezio is able to confront Borgia with the help of his allies and recover the Apple, and Borgia flees before he can be killed. Ezios allies reveal they are all Assassins, and see Ezio as their Prophet, allowing him to join their ranks.

Several years of Ezios memories are inaccessible from the Animus, and Desmond can only revisit those starting in 1499, where Ezio and the Assassins plan to attack Borgia (now Pope Alexander VI) at Vatican City. Ezio corners Borgia and strikes him down, but cannot come to kill him, as he knows that will not bring back his family. Ezio uses the Apple and the Papal cross (which is also a Piece of Eden), and discovers the entrance to the Vault. Inside, he is confused when a holographic figure, calling herself Minerva, appears. Speaking directly to Desmond and those monitoring him in 2012, she explains that she was part of a far more advanced society that initially co existed along with the early humans on Earth before they faced each other in war. A global catastrophe occurred that nearly wiped out both sides, and the survivors joined together to construct temples across the Earth to allow humans to prevent a similar catastrophe in the future. Before the hologram disappears, she warns Desmond, by name, that the rest is up to you.

Shortly after recovering this memory, Desmond and the others are forced to flee with the Animus from their location as Abstergo troops surround it. As they head toward a new safehouse, Lucy explains that there are newly discovered weaknesses in the Earths magnetic field; a solar flare striking this weakness would cause a similar level of global destruction as described by Minerva. Desmond resolves to help the Assassins find these temples, and prepares to reenter the Animus.
